Terms & Conditions of Sale
Standard, custom and bespoke physical products
Last updated: August 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to products bought from MiniMakers through www.minimakers3d.co.uk, including standard/off-the-shelf products and custom, personalised or bespoke products. Please read the section headed “Custom & Bespoke Orders” carefully because different cancellation rules apply to products made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
Who you are buying from
MiniMakers is the trading name of Stephen Blundell, a sole trader, at MiniMakers, Rochester, Kent, UK. Contact: minimakers@mail.co.uk.
Orders and contract
When you place an order, you are offering to buy the products shown in your basket or quote. A contract is formed when we accept your order. We may decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or description error, payment is not authorised, or we cannot reasonably fulfil the order. If we cancel after taking payment, we will refund the relevant amount.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and VAT is not charged because we are not VAT registered”. Online payments are processed securely through Squarespace Payments. The payment methods available are shown at checkout and may vary.
Products
We take reasonable care to describe and photograph products accurately. Because many items are 3D printed, small variations in colour, finish, layer lines or surface texture may occur and are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process. Important size, age, safety or care information shown on the product page forms part of the product description.
Availability
All products are subject to availability. If we cannot supply an item after you order, we will contact you and refund any amount paid for that item.
Delivery
Delivery options, charges, dispatch times and further information are set out in our Delivery & Returns Policy. Standard in-stock products are normally dispatched within1-3 business days. Unless a different timescale is agreed with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within the legal time limit. Cancellation of standard online purchases
For standard, non-personalised goods bought online, you normally have 14 days from the day after delivery to tell us that you wish to cancel without giving a reason. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods. Unless we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods. We will refund the product price and the cost of our least-expensive standard outward delivery option. If you chose a more expensive delivery method, the extra delivery cost is not refundable. We may make a reasonable deduction if the value of returned goods has been reduced because they were handled more than would reasonably be allowed when examining them in a shop. See our Delivery & Returns Policy for the return process.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights. If goods are faulty, not as described, damaged on arrival or not fit for purpose, contact us promptly at minimakers@mail.co.uk Your legal rights may include a refund, repair or replacement depending on the circumstances and timing.
Custom & Bespoke Orders
Enquiry, quote and approval
For products made to your specifications, personalised products, one-off commissions and other bespoke work, we will discuss your requirements and provide a quote. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Work will not begin until the design/specification and price have been agreed. Full payment in advance for orders under £100; 50% deposit for orders of £100 or more, with the balance payable before dispatch/collection. Production normally starts once the design/specification has been approved and the required payment or deposit has been received.
Design changes
The quoted price includes up to two rounds of reasonable design revisions. A revision round means a set of changes requested at the same time. Further changes, or changes requested after approval or production has started, may increase the price or delivery time. We will tell you before carrying out chargeable changes.
Customer-supplied files, names, logos or artwork
You are responsible for making sure that information and measurements you provide are accurate. If you supply files, logos, names, artwork or other material, you confirm that you have the right or permission to ask us to use it. We may refuse work that we reasonably believe could infringe another person’s rights or be unlawful.
Cancellation of custom and personalised orders
The usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right for distance sales does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. Our discretionary policy before production starts is: You may cancel at any time before final design approval and payment without charge. Once production has started, we may be unable to cancel or refund the order unless the product is faulty or we agree otherwise.
Production and finish
Bespoke 3D-printed items are individually made. Small variations in colour, surface texture, layer lines or finish can occur and are not faults where they are normal characteristics of the agreed 3D-printing process. Typical production time is 3–5 working days from receipt of payment, but we will tell you if a project is likely to take longer.
Faulty bespoke goods
The personalised-goods cancellation exception does not remove your statutory rights. If a bespoke product is faulty, not as described or does not match the agreed specification, contact minimakers@mail.co.uk promptly so we can assess the appropriate remedy.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the MiniMakers name, website content, photographs and original designs remain the property of Stephen Blundell or the relevant rights owner. Buying a product does not transfer intellectual-property rights in the design. For a bespoke project, any different ownership or licence arrangement is: unless otherwise agreed in writing, any original designs, CAD files, 3D models, drawings or other design work created by MiniMakers remain our intellectual property. The customer is purchasing the finished product, not ownership of the underlying design or digital files.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
Complaints
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us at minimakers@mail.co.uk so we can try to resolve it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you also retain any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

If you selected a premium delivery service, the additional premium amount is not normally refundable.
